Getting to this point in my career has been a long wild journey. I started school for my bachelors degree over 4 years ago and initially pursued a degree in Game Design. I began to learn the basics of design and development for video games.
As time went on, I realized that I didn't have a passion for 3D modeling. I decided to move on to a different program that was more solely focused on programming and coding, as that was what I enjoyed the most in Game Design. I ended up in the Web Design and Development program where I am nearing my graduation date, finally.
This journey has seemed to drag on but I am getting more and more excited as I approach graduation. Harmony originally started as a proposal to another company to help improve their company. That venture ultimately fell through, but I still thought that the ideas that I proposed would work as a viable business model. Simply put, helping other companies be more successful online with a comprehensive suite of web services.
I had the foundation for Harmony in place, but I needed to consider what my next steps would be. This is what I came up with:
While it all sounds like a simple a to z checklist, it has taken a considerable amount of time thus far. The journey to Day 1 isn’t even close to being finished yet! Myself and my business savvy brother-in-law are tackling this challenge head-on and developing modern solutions for business management and to bring Harmony Web services online this year.
To make that reality, there is still a laundry list of things that need to be sorted out. We are excited about what the future is going to bring for us and our families and we hope that you, reading this, will come along for the journey and watch us grow. We hope you will eventually show us off to anyone you think may be able to benefit from our services. We are here to help small and medium-sized businesses thrive on the web and to manage their brand. Our story is just beginning.
